Lead Quality Standards

How We Define and Protect Lead Quality

Not all leads are created equal. Here's exactly how we define a valid lead, what gets flagged as invalid, and how we protect your investment.

Our Standards

What Makes a Lead Valid?

A valid plumbing lead meets three criteria: the caller or form submitter is a real person, they have genuine intent to hire a plumber for a service you offer, and they are located within your defined service area.

We track every lead and call with full transparency. You can review call recordings, see call duration and caller location data, and flag any lead you believe doesn't meet our quality standards. Disputed leads are reviewed within 48 hours.

Our goal is simple: deliver leads that convert into booked jobs. If a lead doesn't have a reasonable chance of becoming a paying customer, it shouldn't cost you money.

Valid Leads vs. Invalid Leads

Valid Lead Examples

  • Homeowner calls asking for a plumber to fix a burst pipe at their home address in your service area
  • Property manager requests a quote for water heater replacement at a property within your target zip codes
  • Customer submits a form requesting drain cleaning service for their residence in your city
  • Business owner calls about a commercial plumbing issue at their location in your market
  • Homeowner asks about pricing for a sewer line camera inspection in your service area

Invalid Lead Examples

  • Robocall or automated dialer with no real person on the line
  • Wrong number — caller was trying to reach a different business
  • Solicitation from a marketing company, supplier, or vendor
  • Caller from a city or zip code outside your defined service area
  • Duplicate caller — same person already sent to you within the last 30 days
  • Caller asking about a service you don't offer and didn't select (e.g., HVAC, electrical)
  • Spam call with no genuine plumbing service intent
